Everyone enjoyed the 50th Anniversary Celebrations in Plunket College. There were great speeches from our guests the Lord Mayor of Dublin Michael MacDonncha, the CE of CDETB Carol Hanney and the former Governor of Mountjoy John Lonergan. Third Level Access student Jean Marie Kelly also gave a great moving speech about the impact of adult education on her life.
Staff and students were pleased to welcome former colleagues and friends back to celebrate 50 years of Plunket College.
The mindfulness garden was officially opened on the day and the guest speakers were presented with unique gifts – a car clutch transformed into a clock, a beautiful wooden recreation of an Ogham stone and a stunning piece of artwork all made by talented hands right here in Plunket College.

Repeating may seem like the end of the world but the dedicated and hard-working teachers and staff at Plunket College make repeating less stressful. I'd recommend it to anyone.
"I never thought that I would go to university because of Leaving Cert points, never mind have the opportunity to study in an area (Psychology) where it is so difficult to get a place. I owe how well I did in university in no small part to the year I spent on the Counselling & Psychology course in Plunket College; it was indispensable in getting me where I am now, a second year Psychology student in NUI Maynooth.
