AIM
This course prepares students for the Examinations of the
Accounting Technicians Ireland. Qualified Accounting
Technicians may work at middle management leveland may provide support services
for senior management in commercial/industrial or public sector organisations or in the
office of practising accountants. The qualification provides
exemption route access to professional accounting.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Five passes in the Leaving Certificate on Ordinary Level papers at Grade D or better or Four passes at least two of which are on Higher Level papers at Grade D or better. Passes must be obtained in English and either Accounting or Mathematics. Leaving Certificate Applied with Distinction grade. Mature students are most welcome to apply.

Certification
Students take the Foundation Examinations of the Institute of Accounting Technicians in Ireland (IATI) at the end of first year and the Admission examinations of the IATI at the end of second year. FETAC Level 5 Record of Achievement.
